so i sat for my sats on sat.hahhaa pardon the cheesy-ness. came up with that with bek & pm this morning.
our good ol' beloved pw teacher ramasamy was like chief invigilator, but oh so strict. "no calculators, no
rulers on your table!"
well i took SATs I, reasoning, and it was damnnnnnnn frigginnnnnnn exhausting, i wouldnt wanna go through the whole thing again.
we reported at 0745 but of course like all good school exams it officially began like an hour later.
and we finally completed at 1pm. five + hours of intensive burning of brain cells. twenty five minutes english, twenty five minutes math. five minutes break. twenty five minutes english, twenty five minutes math. five minutes break. etc etc etc.
me bek pm went out to the washroom during the first 5min break thinking theyd wait up for us to begin the next test.
yet cruel enough when we came back the whole hall was silent and busy scribbling away. we all sprinted back to our seats and it didnt help that our surnames were like Cs so it was all the way at the end of ac badminton hall. thankgoodness the test hadnt started; candidates were just signing some declaration to uphold the rules®ulations.
towards the last two tests (there were 10 altogether), i was dying and my brain was just so dead i cldnt think properly and i just wanted it to end right there.
in summary, SATs was all paper and pencil and multiple choice and psle math and insane vocubulary and murdering your brain cells. id recommend evryone to take it for fun just like why im taking it anyway, and put yourself through mental warfare.
http://www.collegeboard.com/splash/but please remember:
1.bring food/snacks unless you can work on an empty stomach
2.bring your own watch cos acjc's clocks arent everywhere/showing the right time all the time
3.practice holding your bladder for 5 hours(at least)
4.have enough sleep the night before and sufficient brain cells for the test.

holidayyyyyys!! now theyre officially OFFICIALLY here for me. my mum can nag at me no more, no more As and SATs and everything else for the next few months.
and im gonna slack all the way till january when i'll probably start relief teaching. though i dont really have that much re$erve$ to finance my high holiday expenditure..
by the way, convenient advertisement:
anyone who knows any kids who wants (or desperately needs) tuition !
primary school: english, math, science.
secondary school: e math, a math, chem, physics, geog.
i'll be a very nice teacher :D
but dont blame me if your kid doesnt get 294s for psle or 10 A1s for Os.
yep im looking for tuition kids. first student's my beloved sister pearlyn whom i hope i wont vomit blood when teaching her.
anyway, shall explain on my melancholic blog entry two posts down. about being lost.
well im really lost in life, i dunno what uni courses to take, where im heading, whats my future in for me. i was asking cindy and some friends to help me find courses and stuff. maybe i'll do art.
http://www.ntu.edu.sg/adm/home.htmlbut i'll have to start builidng my portfolio.
and after seeing justin's deviant art i almost died from awe.
http://justintanwy.deviantart.com/how we both survived under a
certain tyrrant-art teacher's clutches and how i dropped out from taking O levls Art, and now look where he is, and me, here i am, still standing in a cloudy, blurred crossroad in life.
but ART. my future? advertising, design, animation; these industries are all toughies.
okay. then, how about teaching. nope, cos my sisters before me both already are teachers.
banking? i like big money but i hate office jobs. law. business. urgh , i dont know.
but first i gotta worry about my A level grades. which i already am worrying about.
prom's been such a biggg headache, all the planning and scheduling of pre, during and post prom stuff and all that. but i think im actually looking forward to it(: in two days time.
and i've been having these sudden blogging cravings, i dont know if you know what i mean. just the sudden urge to start blogging again. so stick around, i'll be updating soon again. if anyone's still reading my blog, that is.
haha zwin i know you're still a loyal fan.
HeLLoxZXxz worZxzZXZxxzXZ, xoxo.
