i cant take it :(
i was marking composition halfway and i had to take a break.
wanted to pull my hair out.
my sis found a strand of black hair on my head which was white at the roots.
that must have started evolving in january.
when i started teaching. hahahah. (bitter laugh)

urgh its been such a stressful week.
and its only tuesday. with the work coming in.
and heads chasing after me for stuff.
and mid years coming but my p2s still giving me rubbish.
and problematic parents.
and the law interview.
and the damn driving final theory.
and then my grandfather.

and im so tired i take naps at the weirdest times.
like just now, from 6 to 9 pm.
and im having eyebags and all.

so this is another one of those ___ periods where ___ everything terrible just comes together at once and ___ slaps you in the face and you ___ just feel like breaking down to ___ cry.
___. (as an art teacher i encourage creativity and imagination)

at least the interaction with my kiddos make me smile. genuinely.
they make me forget. temporarily.
and thank goodness im teaching art, it makes me happy.
relatively.

2. got shortlisted for nus law. will be down for interview on friday and written test for sunday. just gonna try my luck there :D

i dunno how to put it in words and explain either lol.
so guess i'll just leave it for the 7 days and see if a miracle happens.

and the kid said with so much confidence and poise that it was clear he thought the answer was only as correct as A is for apple.
that was during international friendship day quiz time.
ohhhh kids. so comical. without even trying.
hope that made your day. sure did for me.

bad service prevailed

1. a japanese restarant which begins with S and ends with akae located at wheelock place charged us 2 bucks more just because we ordered a kids meal, and there was no kid with us. and the waitress looked at us like we were dirty cockroaches and she cant wait to step on us.

2. a pub which begins with T and ends with imbre located at the substation chased us away just because we were 2 mins late aft our reservation time and they claimed that they let off our seats already. TWO MINUTES! and the waitress in their sister branch at the arts house spoke to us with such arrogance cos we looked like kids and wouldnt spare us an extra table/ chair so that 7 of us ended up having to share 5 chairs and a tiny table. pathetic.

3. a certain not-all-that-fantastically-popular bookstore took their own sweet little time while looking for a paperbox to store a mug that i wanted to buy. like, for twenty minutes i stood there like an idiot waiting for the ladies (and they'r twenty-something young ladies) to look for the PERFECT box, whch turned out to be not all that perfect anyway.

like hello, its really the details that matter.
and its not like any cashier/salesperson/waiter is willing to even smile at us patrons.
they all look like we owe them something.
or like, we're pests.
oh but the WORST is the cynical smile.
the FAKE smile. the hypocritical smile.
if you friggin cant smile sincerely, FOR GOODNESS SAKE DONT WORK IN THE SERVICE SECTOR.

im chatting with my sis on msn. when she's right in the nxt room.

hahaha.

1. im trying to go jogging recently.
keyword: jogging. (not running)
other keyword: trying.

2. school's been tiring.
scaring my kids with an inconvenient truth.
coincidently, these few days have been friggin HOT.
which further proves my point.

3. i hate the weather. friggin HOT.

4. still bummed out cos sakae sushi made us pay two bucks more for ordering a kids meal.
oh, now its a sin to be an adult eh.

5. i seriously cannot multitask for nuts and im a female.
whats wrong with me.

6. did i mention, i hate the weather.

okay too tired to think coherently and of anything interesting to blog about.

Application for Bachelor of Fine Arts Course - Faculty Test

You are requested to attend the faculty test scheduled as follows:

Date: Saturday, 5 April 2008

Time: 10.00 – 11.30 am (registration starts at 9.15 am)

Venue: LT2A (map enclosed)

Those travelling by car, you may wish to park your car at Carpark A.

A sample of the faculty test is posted on our website at:

http://www.ntu.edu.sg/adm/undergrad_syllabus.html.

Please bring along pencil, eraser, ruler, markers or colour pencils to the test. You are also required to bring your identification card (I/C) for identification purpose as you will not be allowed to take the test without a valid I/C.
