PRETTY FAIRY LIGHTS posted on 2.12.09, at 00:58. BOKEH is cool stuff. The effect is just gorgeousssss! And I finally spent some time experimenting with it with my 1000D. Okay so 1. I didn't clean my lens properly, hence the dust specks 2. The images were blur cos I didn't use a tripod 3. I only had access to the lights I can see from my house. Mainly traffic lights and roads. Hence no control over the colours, and the background (too much light around). But besides these, there's purely no editing, only cropping and rotating! All these are just experiments. My first time playing with this effect. Some really worked well, but most of the others just failed. But they still look pretty to me!! I want to do a Christmas lights one soon.
