instead of studying for my phy paper one tmr, i watched BABEL! tsktsktsk.

cherylbabe bought the vcd for me for my birthday and i havent got a chance to watch it till now.finally. across countries, cultures and languages, and there's a central theme of miscommunication. (i feel like a literature student alr). it's amazing cos everytime the story shifts u feel part of the culture yet u're still in the same story. abstract concept eh.and the cultures are all extremely different;theres like american, morrocan(middle east), mexican and japanese. anw i felt that the movie was good. it wasnt like typical genre movies; it was really emotional, intense, but quite disturbing too, both graphically and emotionally.hahha. its M18, so u should know why. and brad pitt looked old,but still hot(:

to thingies: we can watch it during sleepover yeah! looking forward(;

anyway, my whole weekend was spent out/watching tv/slacking.

i watched "ad persuasion" on ch16, which was all about tv ads. heres one which really cracked me up. its so unexpecting. witty. awesome.

oh i really love ads.maybe i'll go into the advertising line next time, but its not an easy industry to survive.hhaha.

btw, goodluck to all the people having prelims/exams now/soon! have lotsa fun, like how i did for mine :D
